Cape Piano is already making a lasting difference by bringing classical music to communities, schools and organisations where access and exposure have been limited. For many, it is a first encounter with the joy and power of music.

Piano graveyard revival

Every piano has a story. Once played and loved, many perfectly good instruments now sit in silence, waiting
for their music to return. This initiative restores unused pianos, carrying them from places of silence to schools
and community centres where they are most needed — places where music can ignite joy, foster learning, and open new possibilities for future generations.

Donate a piano

There are many ways in which you can choose to support this program. From the collection of the pianos, to the refurbishment and the delivery of them, we require donors, partners and supporters to make that possible. We invite you to donate a piano, sponsor a tuning or support the mechanical or transport infrastructure that makes this project possible.
